Grounding / Lifting of containers
Grounding and lifting represent 90% of a sidelifter's tasks. Once on the ground, the container can be stuffed or unstuffed more easily, without the need of specific infrastructure such as platforms or loading ramps. Forklifts can therefore enter the container. The Boxloader range of equipments allows to handle containers even on rough ground.
Trailer to trailer transfers
When several containers must be delivered in the same yard, the Boxloader can pick up the containers on the companion trailers to ground them. Waiting time for trucks and trailers is drastically reduced, thus improving the efficiency and profictability of each trip.
Wagon to trailer transfers
With the growth of multimodal transport and the constant search of "greener" solutions to reduce the carbon footprint, more and more containers are transported by rail.
With a Boxloader, transferring from / to rail wagons is made possible without special quays or equipments. It gives the opportunity to develop small rail hubs or rail terminals (inside factories for example).
Container double stacking
Lack of space is a recurrent feature of today's logistcis world. Double stacking of containers can be a very useful and economic solution. The Boxloader can double stack 2 high cube containers on the ground without chain shorteners. It avoids to invest in a specific equipment.
