The BoXLoader® sidelifters use the latest and most powerful software and computer systems for technical development. This is the reason why the BoXLoader® sidelifters have such a high technological level, with a maximum optimisation of the cranes and stabilisers performance.

Only high precision machining with computer support can guarantee the bushings and the axles a long life period even under very demanding working conditions. The cranes are equipped with CanBus technology, with oil pressure sensors measuring the position of both cranes and stabilisers, together with the weight of the container, in order to prevent dangerous operations. The container weight is displayed on an LCD-screen. The container is lifted with specially developed "ultra light" container hooks.

The hydraulic system operates on closed circuit basis, with high pressure filters and the possibility to activate several functions independently. The Hydraulic Pilot Control (HPC) uses only hydraulic energy and therefore is perfectly air and waterproof. It is also maintenance free and avoids the various risks with traditional pneumatic systems such as corrosion inside pneumatic cylinders or dirt entering the electrovalves. To save time during operations, the driver can speed up the cranes (prime mover's engine or donkey engine turning faster). Moreover, the HPC system allows several cylinders to work at the same time. Each crane has its own hydraulic circuit which is protected with a high pressure filter with a saturation indicator. It is always possible operate all cylinders manually with easily accessible levers located on the non lifting side and protected by the crane frame. The cylinders are equipped with over centre valves, allowing to lower heavy loads slowly with high precision. These valves are also holding the load in case of a hose breakage. The chassis extension is hydraulic and driven by a remote control. The automatic spreader (optional) could also be a huge time saver if many containers are handled with high frequency.
