The cranes are entirely made of High Tensile Steel specially designed for mobile cranes (used by PPM and LIEBHERR among others). The bushings are completely incorporated in the crane arms for maximum resistance. The combination of the stabiliser and crane geometry allows the BoXLoader® two containers high, even a 9'6'' High Cube. The stability is assured by two strong telescopic stabilisers giving a perfect stability to the sideloader in every position. A long stabiliser outreach is absolutely necessary to assure safe working conditions. |

An important stabiliser outreach and a large surface of the support foot helps to reduce ground pressure under the stabiliser. This facilitates container handling on uneven and soft surfaces.
In transport position, the stabilisers are very compact. This prevents tree branches and other high obstacles from getting entangled in the stabilisers. The outreach of the DOUBLEX stabiliser is the longest to be found on any self loading trailer in the world today. The distance between the foot plate and the centre of the trailer chassis is as much as 3 475 mm. The distance between the foot plate and the side of the self loading trailer is 2 200 mm. |
